Born in Marlborough in the year the first vines were planted, Jules has literally grown up with Sauvignon Blanc and is its most fervent ambassador.
These days, she's known as the Queen of Sauvignon Blanc and godmother to several hundred thousand little grapes.
She’s a straight talker who’s also a darn nice person.

ON THE QUIET...
The Jules Taylor OTQ wines were originally made On The Quiet by Jules, hence the name.They are a curated selection of single vineyard wines made in tiny quantities and released only in the best vintages; made as a challenge to conventional winemaking interpretations of Marlborough signature varieties, as well as a personal indulgence for Jules.

IN THE VINEYARD
In 2021-22 carbon emissions per tonne of grapes farmed in our own vineyards were 40% lower than the NZ wine industry average.
IN THE WINERY
In 2022 our winery facility reduced it's Carbon usage by ~80% by moving from dry ice use to reticulated CO2 gas.
ON THE BOTTLING LINE
We are proud to bottle our wines at Wineworks NZ - who became NZ’s first certified Carbon Zero wine bottler in April 2021.
AT HOME
In 2021 we installed solar panels to provide our own renewable power at Jules Taylor Wines HQ.In 2022 they supplied 30% of our office power requirements.
