Another Gold for the Queen of Sauvignon at DAWA

Jules Taylor Wines 2016 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was awarded a Gold Medal at the Decanter Asia Wine Awards on 15th September 2017.

Over 3, 000 wines were entered in this year’s competition and Jules Taylor Wines 2016 Sauvignon Blanc was one of only seven elite producers who were awarded with a gold medal for their Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Judged by top wine experts from around the world, the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the world’s largest and most prestigious wine competition. The DWWA is internationally respected as an unparalleled source of wine recommendations (Decanter, 2017).

The Decanter Asia Wine Awards (DAWA) is dedicated to producers who are interested in the Asia market. The DAWA recruits key influencers in the Asia market, including Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers for the judging panel, and is Asia's most trusted wine competition (Decanter, 2017).

Medal categories correspond to the 100-point scoring system used by Decanter and many top wine critics around the world (Decanter, 2017). Jules Taylor Wines 2016 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded 95 points and a Gold medal in this year’s competition.
