Every now and then someone else likes one of the wines we make so much, that they give us an award for it. Here are some of those awards.
The Wine Access International Value Wine Awards are held annually in Calgary, Alberta, and have grown dramatically in size, success, and international reputation since they began in 2006.
This year our Jules Taylor 2011 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was named as the Grand Champion Gold medal wine for Oysters at the Old Ebbit Grill International Wines for Oysters pairing competition. Based in Washington DC, the Old Ebbit Grill holds this pairing competition once a year with entries of wines from all over the world, the competition is topped off with a 2 day Oyster Riot featuring all you can eat oysters, the top 10 wines for pairing & plenty of live music...PARTY!
The Air New Zealand Wine Awards is arguably the most influential wine competition in New Zealand. Held once a year in November it is a highly anticipated event. Our Sauvignon Blanc has twice won the Trophy for best Sauvignon Blanc once in 2007 and again in 2010.
